heavenly blackfriars escape

refreshing pool abundant breakfast tea coffee easy travel

i found a refreshing pool area with inviting loungers. breakfast felt abundant, i noticed fresh fruit and various breads. the room had amenities, they included tea, coffee and water. the location near the subway made travel easy.

the jacuzzi didn't feel as warm as i imagined. it just felt a little underwhelming.

wonderful stay

convenient location minor walk super clean room

The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the tube station. I found a tesco nearby, REALLY convenient for grabbing essentials. The cleanliness was perfect. The room was Super clean.

The pillows were a bit too flat for my liking. I found it difficult to get comfortable. The bathroom plumbing presented a minor issue. I noticed a slight backflow in the toilet bowl, requiring attention.

lovely surprise in the city

This hotel charmed me. It was great! we were celebrating a special occasion and received a complimentary upgrade to a higher floor. the room featured ample space and a very comfortable bed i took advantage of the available amenities, especially the refreshing swimming pool. the hotel's closeness to public transport made traveling so easy

some issues

broken machines dirty side table

i booked a room specifically for the pool. it wasn't like the pictures. the spa part didn't work. children were loud. i left early. the gym had broken machines. running a bath revealed mildew and hair. the mirror had old drawings. the plug was corroded. the side table was dirty. the air conditioning unit blocked the view. i am very disappointed.

underwhelming experience

empty dispensers defective heating

The room i booked was not properly prepared upon arrival. shampoo and conditioner dispensers were empty, a detail noticed late in the evening. i think a four-star hotel should ensure these supplies are checked. the room was also very cold upon entering, and it took a long time to heat. it was eventually determined the heating was defective. A portable heater was supplied.

The staff were REALLY helpful. I loved the ability to use the phone app. The inclusive breakfast was a hit for kids.

The bathroom had flooding. I found water everywhere. The customer service was not helpful. Toilet paper was not replaced every day, this was embarrassing.
